Battery Management System
BMS is a collection of electronic devices used to monitor, evaluate, and protect the operational status of batteries. Main functions:
1) Monitor and transmit operational status information of lithium-ion batteries, battery packs, and battery system units, such as battery voltage, current, temperature, and protection level;
2) Evaluate and calculate the state of charge (SOC), lifespan, health status (SOH), and cumulative processing energy of the battery;
3) Protecting battery safety, etc.
2.1 The intelligent battery management system can perform real-time monitoring, charging and discharging, balancing, inspection, temperature monitoring, etc. for individual and entire battery groups. It adopts intelligent technologies such as voltage balancing control and over temperature protection to manage multiple battery groups, detect the voltage of all individual batteries in each group, the total current of the battery group, and the temperature of multiple environmental channels. It is a powerful and technically complete battery management system. The Battery Management System (BMS) consists of Battery Module Monitoring Unit (BMU), Battery Cluster Management Unit (BCMS), DC Monitoring Unit (DMU), Battery Stack Management Unit (BAMS), as well as a display and monitoring upper computer.
