The safety protection of wall-mounted energy storage batteries is a top priority in their design and application, as the enclosed wall-mounted structure requires strict control of potential safety hazards such as overheating, fire, and leakage. A multi-layered safety protection system is typically implemented to cover the battery cell, module, and system levels. At the cell level, advanced battery materials such as LFP batteries are used, which have excellent thermal stability and are less likely to experience thermal runaway compared to other battery types. Each battery cell is also equipped with a pressure relief valve to release internal pressure in case of abnormal conditions, preventing cell rupture.

At the module level, the battery modules are designed with thermal insulation and flame-retardant materials to isolate individual cells, preventing the spread of thermal runaway from one cell to others. Temperature sensors and voltage monitoring devices are installed to real-time monitor the operating status of each module. Additionally, the module casing is made of flame-retardant and impact-resistant materials to withstand external impacts and prevent internal components from being damaged.

At the system level, the wall-mounted energy storage system is equipped with a high-performance battery management system (BMS) that comprehensively monitors and manages the battery pack. The BMS can accurately calculate the state of charge (SOC) and state of health (SOH) of the battery, ensuring that the battery operates within the safe range. It also has functions such as overcharge protection, over-discharge protection, short-circuit protection, and overcurrent protection. In addition, the system is designed with waterproof, dustproof, and lightning protection functions, adapting to different environmental conditions. Some advanced systems also include smoke detectors and fire suppression devices, providing an additional layer of safety guarantee in case of fire.
