Corrosion-Resistant Energy Storage Battery

Corrosion-resistant energy storage batteries are customized industrial-grade energy storage devices developed for harsh corrosive application scenarios, breaking the service life limitations of conventional lithium-ion and lead-acid energy storage batteries in high-humidity, salt-fog, acid-base and coastal corrosive environments. This battery adopts a full-layer anti-corrosion structural design, with an aerospace-grade fluoropolymer outer shell and double-layer electroplated anti-rust alloy pole terminals, which isolates electrolyte vapor, salt ions and corrosive gas from internal battery core components comprehensively. Different from ordinary anti-corrosion coatings, its surface adopts integrated sintered anti-corrosion coating technology, which will not peel off, oxidize or fail under long-term alternating temperature and humidity conditions, realizing passive anti-corrosion protection for the whole battery module.

In terms of internal material optimization, the electrolyte of this corrosion-resistant battery adds exclusive anti-electrochemical corrosion additives, which suppresses pole piece dissolution, internal micro-galvanic corrosion and separator aging caused by acid-base electrolyte permeation. The internal busbars and conductive connectors are made of titanium-copper composite materials, which effectively resist chemical corrosion from industrial waste gas, coastal salt spray and soil corrosive components. It has passed 2000-hour neutral salt spray test and acid immersion durability test, maintaining stable electrical performance without capacity attenuation or short-circuit failure. Conventional energy storage batteries fail within 1-2 years in coastal port, chemical plant and sewage treatment plant scenarios, while this model can operate stably for more than 10 years without regular anti-corrosion maintenance.

This battery supports containerized large-scale energy storage, distributed outdoor energy storage and underground embedded energy storage layout, with compatible BMS battery management system equipped with corrosion monitoring sensors. The system can real-time monitor internal gas corrosion degree and pole piece corrosion state, automatically adjust charge-discharge current to reduce electrochemical corrosion load. It features low maintenance cost, wide environmental adaptability and high safety, eliminating hidden dangers such as battery leakage, thermal runaway and module burnout caused by corrosion. It is the core matching energy equipment for new energy power stations in coastal corrosive areas, chemical industrial park power backup and marine offshore supporting energy storage systems.
